Learn JavaScript interactively, build with Svelte & check out Astro 4.0
CodeSketched Newsletter - Edition #033
Hello there, fellow visual learner 🙌🏾
This is the post for the third week of December. The last month was pretty happening with Google releasing their own model (Gemini) with this too good to be true video and then later wrote this blog post explaining how it was not indeed true!
Moving on to some interesting resources, Let’s Go 🚀
❶ Learn JavaScript interactively
FreeCodeCamp just revamped its JavaScript curriculum with some fresh new knowledge base and interactive examples. This video explains all that you need to know. 👇🏾
❷ The advent of Svelte
Learning Svelte but don’t know what to build? The Advent of Svelte is here to solve that very problem. It’s a free 23-day challenge where each day you are presented with a new challenge (a frontend problem statement) and you need to build out the solution and submit it. Almost all the challenges are now live on the platform.
If you don’t like to solve them with Svelte, just do “react.new” in your chrome address bar and solve them with React. 🙌🏾
❸ Astro 4.0 is here!
Astro is slowly becoming the new favorite for anyone building content-driven websites. They recently launched version 4.0 which comes with some updates to developer experience like the dev toolbar, logging enhancements and the redesigned documentation. Read all about it here.
