CodeSketched Newsletter - Edition #017
Hello there, curious reader 🙌🏾
This is the post for the third week of March. Another week where everyone could not stop talking about Chat GPT but there were some other notable events like the lauch of new React docs website and more.
Let’s get started 🙌🏾
❶ New React docs released
After months of waiting, the new React docs are finally live.
These docs aim to be a better guide for someone getting started with React by introducing the concepts in a step-by-step manner and improving on the weaknesses of the old site. You can check it out here.
❷ GPT-4 is here!
This week, the Open AI team dropped another bomb of an announcement and tech Twitter just went crazy.
GPT-4 which is the successor to GPT-3.5 (the model used by Chat GPT) is now open for public access and people are already doing crazy things with it. You can read more about it here and apply for access to the API too.
❸ The React reconciliation algorithm
While talking about what makes the React library special, one cannot miss the famous reconciliation algorithm.
It is what makes React so fast and powerful even while working with thousands of components at a time. This video digs into the algorithm and explains what makes it so special. 👇🏾
🐥 Tweet of the week - Making GPT-4 your business partner 😯
Someone decided to start a business and do each and everything exactly as GPT-4 advises. This thread is just crazy!
